How You See Me

In the last ten years, the peace and quiet of Kazuyo, a Japanese citizen living in Israel, has been disturbed in countless ways. Most of the times they concerned her physical appearance. In this video, she attempts to respond to these unsolicited inquiries and offer more entertaining ways to harass people of Asian descent on racial grounds.

Creation, performance and video editing: Kazuyo Shionoiri | Photographer and co-creator: Daniel Pakes Additional performers: Dror Liberman, Tami Zvulunov | Special thanks: Gil Zirlin, Noam Ben Israel
