פעולה בין מוט ברזל בעובי 16 מ"מ לגוף נע

פרפורמנס פיזי בו מוט ברזל ישר מוכפף לרצונותיו של המבצע וההיפך. מסע קשוח אל היחסים המורכבים של אדם ומתכת, דרך עמל, תנועה וסאונד.

המאמץ הפיזי והתמורה שהוא יכול לחולל בחומר ובגוף המופיע, נמצאים במרכז היצירה. הבחירה בברזל תעשייתי, עבה במיוחד אינה מתפשרת ואינה יפה. היא מביאה את הגוף בזמן אמת עד הלום עם השאלה מי כפוף למה.

כשזה קורה, לעיתים נוצרים דימויים, פסלים, תבניות נוף, צלילים עמוקים ולעיתים לא נוצר כלום. ערכו של הכלום הזה, מהותי אל מול ההתעסקות בחומר ששינה את פני ההיסטוריה האנושית.

נועם בן ישראל, גדל בחווה בהר הגלבוע למד לעבוד בברזל ולרתך בגיל 12. זז מאז שהוא זוכר את עצמו, נע בחוץ, בשדה וביער. עובד כרקדן עצמאי עם יוצרים רבים ביניהם להקת ורטיגו, להקתה של יסמין גודר ושרון פרידמן.

Kipuf (bending)

A physical performance in which a straight iron rod is subject to the wishes of the performer and vice versa. A tough journey into the complex relationship between man and metal, through labor, movement and sound.

The physical effort and the value it can bring about in the material and the body that appears, are at the center of the work. The choice of industrial iron, especially thick, is uncompromising and not beautiful. It brings the body in real time to confront with the question of who is subject to what.

When this happens, sometimes images, sculptures, landscape patterns, deep sounds are created and sometimes nothing is created. The value of this nothingness is essential compared to dealing with the material that changed the face of human history.

Noam ben Israel, grew up in a farm on Mount Gilboa, learned to work with iron and weld at the age of 12. Learned to Move outside, in the field and in the forest. Works as an independent dancer with many creators including the Vertigo dance compeny, Yasmeen Godder Company and Choreographer and Director  Sharon Friedman.
