Inviting the spirits of our ancestors, inspired by the Japanese custom Obon

OBON | Premiere:

“Like ashes in the wind, spreading across the world… Once it spread, it can no longer return to what it was”

A combination of dance and visual-theater

Out of the loss of our fathers, came an event made to invite them to visit us.
According to the Japanese Buddhist belief, in order to release the soul, the dead must be invited by their families to dance, honor and guide their way back to the realm of the dead.
