A Day in the Life of a Faulty Thermometer – Wolfson Park

At the center of the video is a thermometer, of the type we are accustomed to seeing, one that stands at the entrance of public buildings. The thermometer is disassembled when it is placed in different corners of Tel Aviv’s public Wolfson Park – in a location that eliminates the need for it. The primary purpose of this action is to find out whether people will still measure their body temperature, out of Pavlovian conditioning. But beyond the initial goal, another image is being revealed – a melancholy portrait of the cessation of the human race.
