Clipa Center for Performance Art is dedicated to creation, presentation, artistic collaboration and research in the theatrical language of visual theater and performance art.
The center opened its doors in 2005, in a three-floor industrial building shaded by a giant old tree. The center consists of a fully equipped small-scale black-box performance space and two rehearsal studios.
Apart from serving as Clipa's home theater, Clipa Center for Performance Art promotes encounters and collaborations between the group's members and creators from various fields of art, and hosts workshops conducted by leading Israeli and international artists - open to creators, students and the public. Once a year, the center holds Clipa Aduma - an international festival for performance art and visual theater.
