Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, 1971. Studied dance from the moment she could walk and choreography a little later.
Between the years 1989-1991, Idit was a member of Batsheva Dance Company. In 1992 she traveled to Europe and worked with choreographers and dance groups from The Netherlands and Belgium.
Idit abandoned her modern dance dream and began collaborating with Dmitry Tyulpanov after their fateful encounter in 1993.
In 1995, after two years of countless improvisation performances throughout Europe, Idit and Dmitry founded Clipa Theater in Tel Aviv.
in addition to serving as the Clipa's artistic director, she directs and designs most of the group's productions.
Idit and Dmitry create 2-4 new stage works and projects each year, and somehow manage to stay married. Their creative partnership yielded a unique dance-theater language, which they continue to develop together with Clipa group members, and which has established Clipa Theater as the leading visual theater group in Israel.
