lee meir

performer and creator

Born in Jerusalem, 1984.
Raised in the US and in Kiryat Tivon (Israel), she studied theater and dance in high school, and at an early age was a member of the outdoor acrobatic circus group "Mimos".

During her army service she kept up her dance studies. in 2005 she staged her first solo dance-theater piece, and in 2007 danced in two different debuts for the Curtain Up festival with choreographers Michal Herman and Odelya Kuperberg

In 2006, after being spotted at Clipa Theater's Performing Art Workshop, Lee joined the group. She participated in most of the group's work as a performer and costume designer, and created her first solo work in Clipa in 2007.

When Lee is not sweating away at her sewing machine, you might see her performing in Tinshemet, What's Up With Shabtai?, Salto Mortale, Rite of Spring, Oh, Wide Open! and Toy Friend, or spot her original costumes in The Wise Men of Chelm.
